Dr. Green attended Prairie View A&M and went to medical school at the Indiana University School of Medicine. He completed his residency at the University of Illinois, College of Medicine in Peoria and went on to complete a Fellowship in Advanced Laparoscopic and Bariatric Surgery at Providence Hospital - Howard University, something only a select few bariatric surgeons have done.

He has served as Bariatric Medical Director at 2 Texas hospitals and is currently based in Fort Worth. His practice is primarily bariatric surgery, performing the laparoscopic Roux-en-Y gastric Bypass and the Lap-Band.

Dr. Green has performed over 1000 bariatric procedures.
